Islamabad: Following the arrest of the former DG ISI, three more retired military officers have been taken into custody.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), these three retired officers have been found guilty of violating military discipline, and investigations will be conducted for court-martial proceedings against them.
The ISPR statement indicates that the officers were involved in attempts to spread instability under specific political interests, and investigations into this matter are ongoing.
The Pakistan Army spokesperson further stated that these officers have been taken into custody for court-martial proceedings, and their associates are also being investigated.
It is noteworthy that a few days ago, former DG ISI Faiz Hameed was also taken into custody for violating military discipline, and field court-martial proceedings are underway against him.
