Rawalpindi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has stated that the arrest of former ISI Director General Lieutenant General (Retd) Faiz Hameed is an internal matter of the military. PTI has no connection with General Faiz’s arrest. He also mentioned that General Bajwa replaced General Faiz after making a deal with Nawaz Sharif.
According to media reports, during a meeting with legal leaders at Adiala Jail, Imran Khan remarked that pressure is being exerted on the Supreme Court, and the youth are losing hope. He compared Pakistan’s current situation to being worse than Bangladesh’s, urging those in power to act responsibly. He also suggested that Qazi Faez Isa should now step back.
He further added that three of their seats were taken away yesterday and called on the public to come out of their homes for the sake of freedom, emphasizing that now is the time to take action for the country’s sake. He also demanded that the CCTV footage from May 9th be released.
