Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif stated that her governance model aligns with the principles of Hazrat Umar Farooq (RA), known for his justice and leadership qualities.
During a meeting with the Imam of Masjid Nabawi, Dr. Salah bin Muhammad Al-Budair, the Chief Minister highlighted her commitment to following the path guided by the historical principles of leadership.
The Imam of Masjid Nabawi was warmly received at the Chief Minister’s office, where the deep cultural and strategic ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were emphasized.
In her address, Maryam Nawaz reminisced about her family’s long-standing relations with the Saudi royal family, stating that their influence is recognized not only in Lahore but also in Madinah.
She also mentioned her recent discussions with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, during which they expressed mutual aspirations for diligently serving their people.
Dr. Al-Budair compared Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to “two stars shining together in the sky,” reinforcing the enduring partnership between the two nations.
