Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed Australia’s Tim Nielsen as the High-Performance Coach for the Pakistan red-ball team.
Sources indicate that Pakistan Test team head coach Jason Gillespie has included Tim Nielsen in his support staff. Nielsen is also overseeing the Pakistan Shaheens’ camp and has previously worked with Gillespie in South Australia cricket.
According to sources, Tim Nielsen was present at the Pakistan Shaheens’ training camp yesterday, while the national team’s training camp is set to begin on August 11.
The announcement of the Pakistan team’s management is expected within the next couple of days.
