Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat has stated that to save the country, a major long march needs to be initiated. He announced his intention to participate in Jamaat-e-Islami’s protest sit-in and urged people to rise for their rights.
Marwat mentioned that if the reserved seats are not allocated to PTI, a conflict will ensue. He promised that if he is given the leadership of the protest-long march, he will secure the release of the PTI founder within a few days.
He stated that he has never made controversial statements against PTI leadership, but his statements have been made controversial. He criticized the current government’s repression and injustice and emphasized the need for a major long march to save the country.
Marwat added that justice is not available anywhere in the country and people need to stand up for their rights. He criticized the rulers for losing their sense of honor.
