Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court has ordered the immediate reopening of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) central secretariat.
According to a report by a private TV channel, the Islamabad High Court heard PTI’s petition against the sealing of its central secretariat. The court declared the Capital Development Authority’s (CDA) action null and void and instructed the immediate reopening of the PTI central secretariat.
During the hearing, the court directed PTI to implement fire safety measures in the building, stating that PTI had agreed with the CDA on ten types of safety arrangements.
According to the court’s decision, PTI officials agreed with the CDA to install fire extinguishers on every floor, a fire pump on the roof, a separate water tank, a manual alarm system, gas detectors in the kitchen for safety, emergency numbers, and proper electrical wiring throughout the building.
