Karachi: As the rain began, power outages occurred in various feeders across Karachi, leaving residents struggling in the dark.
According to media reports, power was lost in several areas of Karachi as soon as the rain started. Areas affected by the outages include Landhi, Malir, New Karachi, PECHS, Shadman Town, Manghopir, Orangi, and others, with power being out for several hours and causing significant difficulties for the residents.
The Meteorological Department had forecast severe rains starting today, with chances of rain in Karachi and several other areas.
