Court Rejects Imran Khan’s Plea for WhatsApp Call with Sons

Rawalpindi: The Anti-Terrorism Court has rejected Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s request to speak with his sons via WhatsApp once a week.

Judge Malik Ejaz Asif of the Rawalpindi Anti-Terrorism Court heard the request from PTI founder Imran Khan to speak with his sons over the phone.

The jail administration submitted a response to the court, stating that according to the jail manual, there is no provision for any inmate to talk to relatives via WhatsApp.

According to the court order, former Prime Minister Imran Khan is allowed to speak with his sons twice a month.

Subsequently, after the jail administration submitted its response, the Rawalpindi Anti-Terrorism Court rejected the request to speak with his sons via WhatsApp once a week.
