Journalists and Media Workers to Receive Health Insurance in 2024-25 Budget

Islamabad: The federal budget has announced health insurance for journalists and media workers. Federal Minister for Information, Attaullah Tarar, congratulated the journalist community on this initiative.

He stated that providing health insurance to journalists and media workers is a top priority for the government. He further mentioned that the provision of health insurance is a historic step that will help ensure the health and welfare of journalists.

Federal Minister Atta Tarar said that in the first phase, 5,000 journalists and media workers will be provided with health insurance. In the second phase, an additional 10,000 journalists will receive this benefit.
