Karachi: Naveed Ali Baig, the Chief Executive of Alkhidmat Karachi, has announced that Alkhidmat Pakistan has initiated relief activities in Gaza, and is actively providing assistance to the Palestinian people. Alkhidmat is collaborating with various partner humanitarian organizations for this mission.
Naveed Ali Baig stated that the current situation in Palestine is dire, with daily casualties numbering in the hundreds due to Israeli bombardments. The people of Gaza are facing severe shortages of clean drinking water, food, and medicines. Hundreds of thousands have been displaced, seeking shelter under the open sky with minimal resources, as Israeli airstrikes continue relentlessly.
He also mentioned that Israeli forces have been targeting hospitals in Gaza, making the humanitarian situation even more challenging. Naveed Ali Baig emphasized that the current state in Palestine is alarming, and human suffering has risen as a result of the war.
Alkhidmat is not only providing medical aid to the injured but is also distributing food, clean water, and other essential supplies to help alleviate the suffering of the affected population.
Naveed Ali Baig appealed to the people of Pakistan, particularly the residents of Karachi, to come forward and support their Palestinian brothers and sisters. He called on them to contribute generously to Alkhidmat’s relief efforts, providing both financial assistance and relief items.
