Lahore: Alkhidmat Foundation has announced a medical relief fund of 100 million rupees for the victims in Palestine.
In light of the current situation in Palestine, an emergency meeting of the Alkhidmat Foundation was held, attended by the President of Alkhidmat Foundation, Dr. Hafeez ur Rahman, Vice President Muhammad Abdul Shakoor, Secretary-General Syed Waqas Jafri, and other officials.
Dr. Hafiz ur Rahman expressed deep concern over the loss of life and property in Gaza, stating that hundreds of people have lost their lives, and thousands have been injured, requiring urgent medical assistance.
He further explained that Alkhidmat Foundation has established a medical relief fund initially with 100 million rupees, which will be utilized to provide medical assistance to the affected areas in collaboration with relief agencies.
It is worth noting that Alkhidmat Jamaat-e-Islami has provided humanitarian aid and dispatched relief teams to various countries, including Pakistan, in times of need. This trust in Alkhidmat’s efforts is why generous individuals contribute significantly to their financial support.
