The Lahore High Court heard a petition regarding the recovery of Imran Riaz.
On this, the Chief Justice inquired from the IG Punjab about the progress made in the case.
The IG Punjab said that we have met Imran Riaz’s father regarding court orders, and his father and lawyers have been updated about all the progress. “We are moving in the right direction regarding the matter”, he added.
The lawyer of the petitioner said that the investigation is moving in the right direction. Lawyer Ali Ashfaq said that progress can be made in the case at any time.
The Chief Justice of Lahore High Court adjourned the hearing on the petition of Imran Riaz’s father till September 20.
