Australian Citizen Arrives in Pakistan on a Bicycle

Islamabad: An Australian citizen, who embarked on a long journey on a bicycle, has arrived in Pakistan. According to official sources, the Australian citizen set off from Australia on a bicycle in May last year and has now reached Pakistan via the Wagah border crossing.

David McCourt, after his departure from Australia, had previously traveled on his bicycle to Indonesia, Thailand, India, Malaysia, Bangladesh, and Nepal.

It is reported that David has covered a distance of over 19,000 kilometers on his bicycle so far. Upon reaching Pakistan, he plans to stay here for a month and explore various regions, including the federal capital, Islamabad.

David, who hails from Australia, intends to continue his bicycle journey, which after Pakistan will take him through China, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and eventually to Ireland. Another cyclist from Indonesia, who is traveling by bicycle from Indonesia, is also accompanying David on this journey.
