Paris: Violent protests continue to unfold in France after the death of a young man at the hands of the police. In various cities, the protestors have engaged in vandalism, arson, and barricades. In an underground parking area, a 24-year-old firefighter lost his life while extinguishing a fire.
According to the police, 157 individuals have been arrested in connection with the protests.
It should be noted that last week, in Paris, French police fatally shot a young man who was a passenger in a car, resulting in his immediate death. According to foreign media, the deceased 17-year-old French-Algerian youth has been identified as Nahel.
