ISLAMABAD: The micro-blogging site Twitter has suspended the account of Punjab Chief Minister’s spokesperson Dr Shahbaz Gill over violation of rules.
Account of Dr Gill, who has nearly 48,000 followers on Twitter, was suspended on Saturday.
Dr Gill said that his account haTwitterhacked. He added that the account was suspended after being hacked.
He added that the hackers had changed the account’s password.
In recent days, Twitter suspended many accounts on the request of government of Pakistan for spreading hatred on the social media. Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan leader Khadim Hussain Rizvi’s account was among them.
