Pakistan vs Australia first Test Day 4 highlights

BRISBANE: Pakistan turned it around on 360 degrees in the second innings of the first Test, playing like heroes to make the highest total in the history while chasing.

The world said they need to take it as a practice match since there is no question of winning or drawing. Pakistan played throughout the day, and then an extra hour to post 382 runs on the board.

The gritty hundred from Asad Shafiq and the commitment from the tail made Australia toil on the fourth day.

Australian looked concerned for the first time in the game.

Azhar Ali (71), Younis Khan (65), and Mohammad Amir (48) before Wahab’s 30-run fight gave rare hope to Pakistan dressing room for the first time in this game. They sat tight and cheered every single run before the end of the play.

Though the last wicket in the final over has made Australia’s chances brighter, Shafiq’s presence will give Pakistan a little hope.

It is to mentioned that, Shafiq first made a 92-run stand with Amir and then a 66-run partnership with Wahab.

If he can continue this feat with Yasir Shah, who can handle a bat and looked confident on the last three balls he faced yesterday, Pakistan will continue tomorrow from 382/8, requiring another 106 runs to win.
