Inzimam reveals who halted changes in Test team after NZ defeat

LAHORE: National Chief Selector Inzimam ul Haq revealed Tuesday that he was desirous of bringing changes in the team after the disastrous New Zealand.

Inzamam said he held his decisions on the insistence of Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq and Coach Mickey Arthur.

Former Test captain went on to say that Pakistan’s ODI team is not capable enough to either chase or put together a total of 350 runs.

In a statement, former skipper said that each player would have to change his mindset to meet requirements of the modern day cricket.

However, he admitted that bringing required change at once would be impossible and time was needed on the issue.
