Good news about talented Haris Sohail

Talented Pakistan all-rounder Haris Sohail has returned to the country Monday after recovering from a knee injury, Dawn.com reported.

Earlier it was falsely reported that the all-rounder’s knee injury surgery failed and he would undergo another operation in England.

Haris will start training at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore Tuesday onwards.

Talking to Dawn News exclusively, in an exclusive interview, Sohail said that he has recovered from the knee injury that he had suffered in England.

He also rejected speculations in Indian media about his fitness, saying all such reports are fake and the trainers can speak better on this subject.

“People have been saying that I have not recovered from the injury but if I hadn’t, I wouldn’t be here in Pakistan,” the all-rounder said, adding that he is here now and will work towards a full recovery.

“The injury has healed and all I need now is to train, run and get fit,” he said, adding he wants to be ready for the upcoming season of Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Earlier, the First Post reported that Sohail may ‘face a tragic end’ to his international cricket career due to a failed knee operation in Dubai.

Quoting an unnamed source in the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), it said, “It is sad news that Sohail’s knee operation last year was not successful. The PCB chairman has now sent him to London for examinations but the picture is not very good about his future.”
