At least 30 people were killed and over 100 were wounded when a powerful bomb ripped through the crowded shrine during dhamal, a folk dance.
No organization has claimed responsibility for the bombing, but suspicions are likely to fall on splinter Taliban groups.
In a press statement, the Prime Minister expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of innocent lives in the blast.
Sympathising with the bereaved families, the Prime Minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls and grant of courage to the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss.
The Prime Minister directed the concerned authorities at the federal and provincial levels to bring the perpetrators to task immediately.
The Prime Minister directed for expediting rescue activities and save the lives of those injured during the blast while extending best medical treatment to them.
The Prime Minister prayed for swift recovery of the injured.
