The opening episode of this upcoming 5th season is all set to kickstart with Dear Zindagi buddies, Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt. We show you this rather controversial set of line up of celebs who will NOT make an appearance on the show this year. Yes! Although the circumstances are more to be blamed, but the anti-Koffee With Karan movement begins here and it begins with a reasoning.
Fawad Khan – Fawad was the top priority for Karan to have him guest on the opening episode, but blame it on the Uri Attacks followed by India’s ban on Pakistani actors, Karan had no choice but to drop Fawad from his wishlist.
Kajol – Like Fawad, Kajol was too in Karan’s plans, but, with Ajay ruining his equation with Karan, how will Kajol maintain her friendship? Sadly, even she seems to have called it quits with her long time bff, Karan.
Ajay Devgn – Old friendship of Karan and Ajay came to a sad end during the recent clash of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivay. Now, things have soared up between the tow that a patch up seems far from happening, at least in near future.
Aditya Chopra – And finally adding Aditya Chopra to this list is fair enough considering he barely makes any appearances be it for whatsoever reasons. Neither  during award shows nor on reality shows. In fact, Adi has been so secretive about himself that he doesn’t even come out in open to give any kinda interviews or is on any social media platform.
