Big News for PTI: 3 containers down at Haroonabad

PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) demonstrators have managed to cross into Punjab from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after bracing teargas shells and pelting of stones, Thenewstribe.com reported.

The demonstrators covered a distance of 1.5 to 2 kilometers.

Under the leadership of CM KPK Parvez Khattak, Protesters have removed at least one container using a crane and efforts are being made to remove other barricades.

Chief Minister Pervez Khattak says that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Constitution of Pakistan are under attack from the federation and Punjab government, reported Samaa.

His remarks came shortly after the chief minister and his supporters were barred from crossing Hazro Interchange on the M-1 motorway linking Peshawar and the capital Islamabad.

“The federal government has resorted to hooliganism now. This is an attack on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province,” he said.
