Pakistan humbled and humiliated World Champion West Indies in the three-match T20 series on slow and turning pitches which was contrary to Windies firebrand cricket and suited Pakistan’s old fashioned, slow-paced cricket.
But, it would interesting to see how Caribbean team responses in the long form of cricket as both teams would play under different captains.
Pakistan have not a very good track record in ODIs. Before the famous Cardiff win in England, the Green Shirts had lost their 9 out of ten ODI games. The only win came against Ireland where swashbuckling Sharjeel Khan made 155 off 55 balls.
If West Indies didn’t learn to play slow bowlers and did not adjust to the conditions, the ODI series might also end up in the similar fashion that of T20s.
