2nd T20: West Indies opt to bowl against Pakistan

DUBAI: West Indies have won the toss and elected to bowl first in the 2nd T20 of the three-match series against Pakistan at the Dubai International Stadium, Dubai.

Dubai skipper Carlos Brathwaite took a wise decision to bowl first after winning an important toss.

Carlos at the toss, sweating profousely, stated that due to the dew factor, the ball became very wet last night.

“Hopefully, we can negate the spinners. West Indies are an aggressive team and we want to play the same way. It [the pitch] is slow, but has no demons in it. Dew will have the ball sliding on in the night,” he said.

Pakistan XI: Sharjeel Khan, Khalid Latif, Babar Azam, Shoaib Malik, Umar Akmal, Sarfraz Ahmed(c&wk), Mohammad Nawaz, Imad Wasim, Wahab Riaz, Sohail Tanvir, Hasan Ali.

West Indies XI: J Charles, E Lewis, A Fletcher(wk), M Samuels, DJ Bravo, N Pooran, K Pollard, C Brathwaite(c), S Narine, J Taylor, S Badree
