DUBAI: Pakistan’s left arm all rounder Imad Wasim once again produced a destructive bowling spell to restrict West Indies to a lower total of 115/10 in the first T20 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Bowling an exceptional spell, Imad took 5 wickets for just 14 runs in his 4 overs. With this feat, he also became the first ever Pakistan spinner to complete a five-wicket haul in the shorter format of cricket.
Bowling an attacking line with wicket- to-wicket approach, Imad destroyed the top order of World T20 Champions West Indies, rooting up 3 wickets in his first two overs.
The dram started when opener Evin Lewis tried to cross boundary on the midwicket but ended with handling it to Nawaz on the boundary.
Soon after this, Samuels hit him for four on the very first ball he faced in the next over, but missed one in-dipper coming quick at him to lose his wicket.
He then sent back Fletcher, Pollard and skipper Carlos Brathwaite to complete his first-ever five-wicket haul in international T20s.
