KARACHI: Muttahida Quami Movement’s senior leader Farooq Sattar distances himself from supremo Altaf Hussain’s statement against the country and the agencies.
Farooq Sattar, while addressing to the press conference in Karachi, stated that MQM chief keeps repeating such mistake under his severe mental conditions. The consequences are however born by its workers and representatives here in Pakistan.
Sttar, while referring Altaf Hussain’s comments and statements, said Some statements are undefendable. The only possible option is to distance ourselves from such things.
Farooq Sattar, therefore announced to distance MQM Pakistan from MQM London secretariat, stating that Rabiita Committee has been taken in confidence before the vital decision.
The key representative of MQM said it was not the policy of the party to attack media houses as he condemned what transpired on Monday.
Earlier Sattar met senior MQM leaders at a local hotel including Nasreen Jalil and Arshad Vohra, sources confirmed.
The senior leader is addressing an important press conference at the Karachi Press Club later today.
