KARACHI: Rangers in Karachi have detained another senior leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Amir Khan minuetes after arresting Dr Farooq Sattar and Khuwaja Izhar ul Hasan from Karachi Pres Club building.
According to initial details, both MQM leaders reached Press Club to clarify the situation after the recent attack on media houses from MQM workers.
But, Rangers were on alert and reached the spot just in time and forced Farooq Sattar and Khuwaja Izhar to sit in Rangers mobile.
As per media reports, MQM leaders have been shifted to Rangers Head Quarters under heavy security.
Amir Khan was also taken into custody as he tried to leave MQM’s head quarter Nine Zero, in Azeezabad’s area of Karachi. While, MNA Sajid Ahmed was arrested from Malir area of the city.
