MULTAN: Qandeel Baloch’s brother Waseem who later surfaced as his murderer confessed that he had tried to kill her sister once before but the attempt failed.
Qandeel’s murderer confessed during investigation that he had planned to kill her sister after her scandals with renowned religious scholar Mufti Abdul Qavi gained media attention.
He said that he tried to kill her sister two times earlier but could not succeed. On Eid’s second day he visited Multan and finding the right moment, he gave her intoxicants and strangled her, he confessed.
He further said that he had planned to flee abroad after killing her sister. The suspect was presented before a judicial magistrate and was sent to jail on a three-day remand.
