Afridi gets warning over talent comment

ISLAMABAD: Members National Assembly have expressed their resentment and warned former captain Shahid Afridi over his recent talent comment.

According to TheNewsTribe.com correspondent from Islamabad, National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Information and Broadcast took up Afridi’s statement in which he had claimed that there was no talent in Pakistan at the moment which could excel at the international level.

While in an interview with BBC, Afridi further claimed that “I’m a better player as compared to them.”

Expressing its anger, the committee warned Afridi advising him not to issue such irresponsible statements in future.
