Three deadly blasts hit Iraq police stations

BAGHDAD: At least three policemen were killed in a series of blasts targeting police station in city of Abu Ghraib, west of Baghdad, police say.

Three Iraqi policemen were killed in three bombings in Abu Ghraib city, west of Baghdad, on Thursday, World Bulletin reported.

“Three bombs hit a police station in Abu Ghraib, killing three policemen and injuring 14 others,” police officer Mustafa al-Hajji told World Bulletin.

Police and rescue parties have cordoned off the area following the attacks.

On Wednesday, at least 78 people were killed and scores injured in a series of attacks claimed by the ISIL extremist group in Baghdad.
