ISLAMABAD: Senior leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Aitzaz Ahsan has stated that opposition has unanimously formed Terms Of References (TOR)s for the commission probing Panama leaks.
Chaudhry Aitzas Ahsan while speaking to media after a four-hour long meeting of opposition’s core committee, stated that the soul demand of opposition is that accountability process should begin from Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and then noose should be tightened to every single entity who is involved in loan exemption.
He went on to say that the consensus on PM’s resignation could not be made during meting as ANP and QWP understand that this is not ‘right time’ to demand resignation, but this does not weakens opposition’s unity.
He further mentioned that PM has to answer where he got the money from and how he formed this empire.
“Details of TROs will be soon made available to media,” said Aitzaz.
Earlier, Aitzaz maintained that opposition unanimously rejected government’s offer for any joint-session in the assembly.
