PSL fails to produce a single pacer, says Aamir Sohail

ISLAMABAD: Former Test cricketer of Pakistan cricket team, Amir Sohail claimed during Pakistan Super League (PSL) not a single pacer emerged to represent Pakistan at international level.

While taking to private TV channel, left-handed batsman, Amir Sohail stressed that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) should find fast bowler.

“Inclusion of Mohammad Sami in Asia Cup squad revealed that selectors failed to find young pacer from Pakistan’s premier T20 league,” he added.

On a question he answered that even spin bowlers not showed brilliant bowling spells on batting wickets. He also hoped that final will be high scoring match.

Islamabad United will lock horns with Quetta Gladiators today in the final of PSL at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai.

Misbah, Andre Russel and Sharjeel Khan will be players to watch from Islamabad United side where Ahmed Shehzad, Kevin Pietersen and Kumar Sangakkara will be the key players to watch from Quetta Side.

Islamabad United remained unbeaten in their last four matches and with their boosted mindset they have upper hand over Quetta but Gladiators who played excellently in the whole event will fight hard to lift the cup.

Match will start at 8:30 pm PST.
