Afridi urges Ramiz Raja to speak Urdu with him in PSL

SHARJAH: The son of Pakistan, Twenty 20 skipper of Pakistan team and Peshawar Zalmi captain Shahid Khan Afridi has made a brilliant move to make Pakistan Super League (PSL) look more of a homemade product.

It was quite an amusement for cricket fans as whenever Afridi was called in a post match ceremony, Ramiz spoke to him in Urdu.

It was later revealed by Ramiz himself that despite having good command on English, Afridi wants me [Ramiz Raja] to speak Urdu with him so as the fans back at home can feel it [PSL] a homemade product, and can enjoy it.

Ramiz Raja, before inviting Afridi to receive Man of the Match award said, “Shahid Afridi has said this is a Pakistani tournament & he would like to speak to me in Urdu in all interviews we do.”

Superb move by Afridi!  May be this is why he is hero of Pakistan nation.
