PESHAWAR: Veteran actor Dilip Kumar’s 93rd birthday will be celebrated in Peshawar, where he was born before he migrated to India, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Known as Yousuf Khan in #Peshawar, the city of his birth, Mr Kumar is regarded as an iconic force behind the huge success of present day Hindi cinema due to his proven acting skills. The perfection with which Mr Kumar acted in films made him a darling of movie-watchers and was called king of emotions because of his ability to enact difficult roles in shortest span of time.
Department of Tourism & Culture has planned an event for celebrating the Birthday of cine legend Dilip Kumar. Since his journey starts from Peshawar, Dept of Tourism & Culture along with Cultural Heritage Council are contemplating to honour him in his homeown by celebrating his birthday on 11th of December 2015.
Cultural Heritage Council and Department of Tourism & Culture will jointly host the symbolic cake cutting ceremony where fans of the legend, government representatives, media persons and members of civil society will be invited to pay tribute to legendary Dilip sb for his glittering career.
A telephonic message by Dilip Kumar for his fans in Pakistan is also expected.
According to the official announcement, a comment wall will be specially setup on this occasion for fans to honour the legend by writing messages on his Birthday.
