NEW DELHI: Indian Domestic team Odessa has been bowled out for just 37 runs against Bengal in the Ranji Trophy match at Bengal Cricket Academy ground.
According to details, Odessan side got target of 171 runs to win but they were collapsed at just 37 runs and Bengal won the match by 133 runs.
Ashoke Dinda bowled Bengal to a crucial win in Kolkata against Odisha. The pacer claimed seven for 19 while Pragyan Ojha picked three for 14 to skittle the visitors out for 37.
After setting Odisha a 171-run target, the duo didn’t allow a single batsman to reach double-digit scores as they wrapped-up the game on the second day.
The Manoj Tiwary-led side now have 25 points to their credit and still one more match to play as they look to claim a spot in the knock-outs.
Earlier in the day, skipper Manoj Tiwary made a valuable 35 while in addition to A Easwaran (39) and S Chatterjee (35) which helped the hosts setup the match even as Basant Mohanty (5/16) bowled Bengal out for 135 in their second innings.
As on the first day, 20 wickets fell on the second day as well in the Group A clash at the Bengal Cricket Academy Ground.
