KARACHI: Unknown assailants opened fire on Rangers mobile in Baldia Town are of Karachi, three personnel died on the spot, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
According to details, a Rangers mobile was deployed on security of Jumma Prayers in Baldia Town, when a group of armed gunmen emerged from narrow streets of the area and opened fire, killing three Rangers personnel on the spot.
DIG Rangers West Bilal Akber has stated that 6 terrorists three motorcycles who probably came to attack Namazees in the mosque, but Rangers personnel engaged them outside the mosque, exchange of fire left three Rangers troops on the spot.
He further said that Rangers have begun to investigate the matter and culprits along with their financiers will be found soon.
