LAHORE: Selection Committee of Pakistan Cricket Baord (PCB) on Sunday has cleared its stance on Pakistani middle order batsman Umar Akmal’s matter, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
According to details, Selection committee is of the opinion that Umar Akmal cannot be included in the T20 squad against England till the clearance from PCB.
Earlier Yesterday Pakistani T20 skipper Shahid Afridi requested (PCB) for a recall of the batsman in his T20 squad. According to sources, Umar Akmal has a fair chance of getting selected for the upcoming tour to England as PCB is considering giving him a clean chit.
It is pertinent to mention here that scandalicious Umar Akmal has faced much criticism in dance bar scandal and being suspended from Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), has been exposed once again.
Akmal was dropped from T20 squad and suspended from central contract of PCB for being reported to be caught at a dance bar in Hyderabad during SNGPL’s domestic tour to Hyderabad for a Quaid-e-Azam Trophy match.
