Pakistan starts Hajj 2015 operation today

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan will start the Hajj 2015 operation from today (Sunday) with departure of first Hajj flight from Karachi, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf will see off the intending pilgrims at Karachi airport.

PIA has planned 155 Hajj flights to carry eighty five thousand pilgrims to Jeddah and Madina this year.

The operation to airlift intending pilgrims would be completed on 10th of next month.

In all, 143,368 persons would perform Hajj from Pakistan this year, half of them under Government scheme and half through private hajj organizers.
