ISLAMABAD: President of Pakistan appreciating the sacrifices rendered by the security forces in the war on terrorism, has said that the operation Zarb-e-Azb will continue till complete elimination of terrorism. He said our sacrifices in the war on terror will not go in vain.
he was talking to the Air and Naval Chiefs who called on President Mamnoon Hussain in Islamabad on Saturday and exchanged Eid greetings.
Meanwhile, Ambassadors and High Commissioners of different countries and prominent personalities called on President Mamnoon Hussain in Islamabad on Saturday and exchanged with him Eid greetings.
Those who called on the President included the envoys of the United States, China, Britain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Azerbaijan, Korea, Bosnia, Libya, Philippine, Palestine, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Indonesia.
The President also telephoned Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and extended Eid greetings to him.
Talking to him, the President welcomed the Iranian nuclear deal.
The Iranian president emphasized the need for promotion of trade ties between the two countries.
