Government should break silence on BBC report: Shah Mehmood Qureshi

ISLAMABAD – Vice-Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, said that BBC has leveled serious allegations against Muttahida Qaumi Movement, so federal government of Pakistan should break silence on the matter.

On question of credibility of BBC report, Shah Mehmood said that BBC is responsible media entity, why would it put its credibility on stake by false reporting. He further added that silence of foreign office is also surprising.

Earlier, the revelation came up during investigation of UK authoritative from MQM officials for alleged money laundering. UK authorities told that a list of weapons was also found from MQM property.
