PESHAWAR – The Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) will join again Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government again, Thenewstribe.com learnt from media reports.
According to details Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak is still in contact with the chairman of QWP. Sikandar Sherpao will b the senior minister of KP government.
Earlier, QWP announced to quit Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI)-led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa coalition government.
The party announced to leave the KP ruling alliance after removal of its two ministers from the provincial cabinet on corruption charges.
QWP’s central leader Sikandar Sherpao addressing a press conference here on Thursday claimed that the coalition’s senior partner PTI has ignored his party so as the QWP leadership has decided to separate ways with the government.
He said that the PTI announced deadlines to halt the NATO supplies but failed to comply their announcements. He said the provincial government didn’t take proper steps to curb corrupt practices.
Sikandar Sherpao also said that the PTI failed to give attention to our reservations. He said QWP will now play its role in opposition. Sikandar Sherpao leveled series of allegations against PTI leaders.
