Nawaz Inaugurates Green-Line Train

ISLAMABAD – The Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has inaugurated “Green-Line Train” at Margalla railway station Islamabad.

Federal minister of Railways Khwaja Saad Rafique also attends the inauguration ceremony. The train would take the passengers from Islamabad to Karachi and vice versa in 23 hours.

The Islamabad-Karachi and Lahore-Karachi fares have been kept as Rs5500 and Rs5000 respectively. On this occasion the PM said that Saad Rafique came out to be a good decision for the ministry of railways.

He said that Pakistan railways had been in deep recession during the last few years. It was the performance of PML-N which restored railways. Khwaja Saad Rafique said that the departmental expenses were being reduced and the revenues generated by the railways were touching new heights since the time Nawaz Sharif came to power.
