WASHINGTON – The United States claims that Iranian Revolutionary Guards opened warning fires at a Singaporean trade ship which was floating through the Persian Gulf.
According to the US officials, the coast guard teams of UAE reached to the help of Singaporean cargo ship after it received fires in the Persian Gulf.
Two officials of US defense department revealed that the Iranian navy opened fires when the cargo ship was on its voyage through the “blue waters” after which the naval coast guards of UAE reached to their resort.
The UAE sent assistance on receiving the call through radio transmission. The US sources said that there was no American in the cargo ship at the time this incident occurred and a US ship was also present in the Persian Gulf at a distance of 20 nautical miles from the Singaporean ship.

The Pentagon has shown reservations on this 3rd incident of its kind and has warned the Iranian authorities to stop their indulgence in international blue waters.
It should be noted here that soon after Yemen crisis, the Persian Gulf has become a venue of regular skirmishes.
