Jaish-ul-Adl claims the responsibility of killing 8 Iranian guards

QUETTA: As many as eight Iranian border security guards were killed on Tuesday near Pakistan and Iran border with Gwadar and Kech districts of Balochistan.

According to reports, the militant group Jaish-ul-Adl organisation claimed responsibility for the attack.

Armed men were waiting for the arrival of security guards vehicle who were patrolling inside Iranian border area of Negur district.

Eight guards died on the spot and another was injured, reports. They said the Iranian guards retaliated and a heavy exchange of fire continued for some time. The armed men later escaped.

A heavy contingent of Iranian border security forces rushed to the place and took the bodies and the injured to hospital.
