ADELAIDE: West Indies legend Brine Lara has slammed International Cricket Council (ICC) and said the council’s decision was ridicules.
The legend said that he has enjoyed the superb spell of Pakistani quick Wahab Riaz and expressed desired to meet the bowler.
Lara said, “I want to meet Wahab Riaz, and I’ll pay his fine too.”
This is not the first time Lara praised Wahab. Following the match Lara used his twitter account to appreciate young pacer of Pakistan who almost blew Australia away with his superb bowling but poor fielding let the side and him down and cost the match.
Lara said It was a joy to watch Wahab Riaz bowling today his stats will never reveal how great a spell of fast bowling that was from the Pakistani.
