KARACHI: Untrained staff of Darul Sehat Hospital have reportedly mishandled a medical case of a female patient, Mrs. Farrukh, which leads her to leg fracture.
Attendants have strongly protested against the mishandling of their patient while other persons also expressed extreme outrage on the untrained medical staff of the hospital.
Mrs. Farrukh’s son told TheNewsTribe that the incident was occurred when the family was finalising arrangements to shift the female patient to another hospital due to overbilling by Darul Sehat Staff. It is noteworthy to mention here that the hospital was charging hefty amount from ICU patients up to 30,000 per day, the victim’s son said.
He alleged, ‘My mother suffered leg fracture due to mishandling of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) staff on Thursday when sister went inside her room.’
Daughter of the injured patient claimed that at least three patients were died while under treatment in the hospital just because of negligence and mishandling of the staff members.
Officials of sensitive institutions have reached the hospital to inspect the incident over complaint of attendants of the patient.
The central hospital of densely populated Gulistan-e-Jauhar is already infamous due to its mishandling of medical cases, as well as once the staff members brutally tortured media persons by batons who were trying to enter the hospital to cover fire incident occurred in hospital.
However, the hospital’s statement pertaining the incident is due so far.
