Ajmal, Kamran Akmal, Shoaib Malik included in 30-men World Cup probables

KARACHI: Pakistan selectors have included Saeed Ajmal, former captain Shoabi Malik, wicket-keeper cum batsman Kamran Akmal and injured Junaid Khan in initially short-listed 30 players for World Cup 2015.

According to reports, selectors included Younis Khan, young leg-spinner Yasir Shah, Saeed Ajmal, former captain Shoabi Malik, wicketkeeper cum batsman Kamran Akmal and injured Junaid Khan in the 30-member probables.

On the other hand Saeed Ajaml’s name will be included if his bowling action was cleared. World Cup 2015 will begin from February 15, but all the participants have to provide 30 names for their teams by December 7 to International Cricket Council (ICC).

Pakistan’s 30 member squad for the World Cup 2015 will be announced after the approval from Pakistan Cricket (PCB) Chairman Shehryar Khan.
