SRINAGAR: As many as seven Indian troops were killed including a senior officer in a suicide attack on Indian army camp in northern Kashmiri, local media reported on Friday.
The Kashmir separatists attacked an Indian Army camp in Uri town of Baramulla district. They also opened fire at the army bunker. Five troops and two policemen were killed in the attack.
Baramulla-based commander of 19 Infantry Division of Indian Army told media that exchange of fire between the troops and Kashmir separatists was going on at two places.
Mean while three separatists were also killed in the attack.
