ISLAMABAD Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will leave for China on Friday to attend Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting.
Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif will also accompany him.
The Prime Minister Spokesperson Dr. Musadik Malik while briefing media after today’s cabinet meeting, said during PM’s visit to China, the two countries would sign agreements worth 35 billion dollar investment in Pakistan.
Fourteen projects relate to electricity generation of 10400 MW besides several contracts for infrastructure development and development of Gwadar Port in Balochistan.
These also include construction of Khuzdar-Gwadar road as part of China-Pakistan economic corridor.
The other projects included, Karachi- Lahore motorway, Orange Line project of Lahore, construction of Karakorram Hihway 2 project, construction of dry port at Hawalian .
The two countries would also sign agreements for cooperation in railways and establishment of special economic zones.
