Polio emergence alarming state in Pakistan: WHO

KARACHI: World Health Organization (WHO) has feared that more cases would be reported in Pakistan in coming year.

According to the WHO Pakistan is the country where polio cases have emerging rapidly.

After declaring Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and Khyber PakhtunKhwa (KP) as region of polio cases emergence, Karachi’s Gadab Town has been declared second hub of Polio cases in the country.

WHO feared that more cases would be reported in the country and estimated that 200 cases would be reported in near coming year.
