FC man killed in Bajaur in militants’ attack from Afghanistan

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army on Friday said that a soldier was killed when militants attacked an FC check-post in Khagye area of Bajaur from across the border on Afghan side.


In a press release issued here, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that militants opened fire on an FC check-post from Afghan side of the boarder, wherein a jawan embraced martyrdom.

It is to be mentioned here that TTP militants sheltering in Afghanistan’s Kunar, Noristan and Nangarhar provinces have been attacking Pakistan Army occasionally from across the boarder.

Pakistan has been demanding of the Afghan government to take action against the TTP militants taking shelters in its territory and laucning attacks on Pakistan Army from across the border.
